GOLDEN CORRAL HONORS ACADIANA'S MILITARY WITH FREE MEALS ON VETERANS DAY

Lafayette restaurant joins the chain's 26th annual Military Appreciation Night, serving a free thank you buffet and beverage to veterans and service members on Wednesday, November 11

LAFAYETTE, LA, November 5, 2026: Golden Corral's Military Appreciation Night returns to Lafayette on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, with a free thank you buffet and beverage for anyone who has served in the U.S. military. The meal is served from 4 p.m. until close at the restaurant at 3110 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy.

Every veteran, retiree, active duty service member, and member of the National Guard or Reserves is eligible. The dinner marks the company's 26th annual Military Appreciation Night, a tradition Golden Corral has held since 2001.

The offer is dine-in only. There are no rain checks and no takeout version of the meal, and the free dinner covers the person who served. Spouses, children, parents, and friends are welcome to join at the table and pay the regular dinner menu price.

Golden Corral calls the evening a small token of appreciation for the country's military and a night built around gratitude, fellowship, and camaraderie, with tables full of people who share a common history.

MORE THAN A MEAL

Since Military Appreciation Night began in 2001, Golden Corral restaurants have served more than 6.8 million complimentary meals to U.S. military members. Restaurants and their guests together have raised more than $21.5 million for DAV (Disabled American Veterans) over the same span.

The company's military support extends beyond the November dinner. Golden Corral backs Camp Corral, a summer camp for children of wounded or fallen service members, through GC Cares, and supports Project Healing Waters, which rehabilitates wounded and disabled service members through fly fishing.
