Ellemnop.Art Presents "The Monsters We Sometimes Become" — An Immersive Visual & Audio Exhibition at Manship Gallery, Shaw Center for the Arts

Baton Rouge, LA — Ellemnop.Art is proud to present "The Monsters We Sometimes Become," a groundbreaking multimedia art exhibition featuring the evocative original works of artist Nathaniel A.J. Landry with an original musical score and live performance by Monoblack. This immersive experience will be hosted at Manship Gallery inside the Shaw Center for the Arts on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Curated by Ellemnop.Art, the exhibition explores the complexities of human emotion, identity, transformation, and vulnerability through visually stunning artwork paired with bespoke music compositions. Each piece by Landry is accompanied by a unique audio element by Monoblack, creating a guided journey through sound and imagery that invites introspection and emotional engagement.

"The Monsters We Sometimes Become" challenges visitors to confront the dualities within themselves—the fears, transformations, and internal battles that shape the human experience. The guided gallery walk, enhanced by paired music, fosters deep reflection and emotional resonance.

In addition to the visual and audio encounter, guests will be led through 'The Choice,' an interactive portion of the exhibit that presents two final artworks and soundscapes representing The Reconcile and The Monster. Visitors must choose one path, creating a personalized narrative within the experience.

After the exhibition, attendees are invited to explore Monster Confessional Portals, socialize with fellow art lovers, enjoy food and beverage offerings, and experience a live performance by Monoblack. A limited-edition vinyl soundtrack of the exhibit, featuring 17 original songs, poems, and prints, is also available for purchase, further extending the immersive nature of the event.
