Sports, food and daiquiri's in a relaxed atmosphere
Behind the name: Mandez combines the first three letters of Ryan Manfre’s last name and the the last three letters of Jeff Hernandez’s last name.
Little known fact: Mandez’s has drive-thru daiquiris
Romantic table: Though the restaurant is a bit on the small side, if a customer comes in with a request for a romantic dinner, Mandez’s will do whatever they can to make the dining experience as intimate as possible.
Concept: Seafood bar and grill
Menu favorites: Seafood egg rolls, Ragin’ Cajun burger and the paninis
For the health conscience: Ahi tuna salad, Ice Burger that is a carb-free burger, served on Iceberg lettuce. Any menu item can be grilled instead of fried.
Manly menu: Seafood platter or Farmhouse Burgers which includes a burger patty, pulled pork, crumbled bacon, pepper jack cheese, creole aioli topped with a fried egg.
Off Menu items: Mandez’s is also working on offering Daily Specials and Burgers of the Month. Also, be on the look out for their boiled seafood next year.
We tried the Rajun Cajun Burger, “Give Em Hell UL” Dressed with crumbled bacon, grilled jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, Mandez sauce, fried onion strings and roma tomatoes on a jalapeno cheese bun.
Flat Iron Steak seasoned and grilled, paired with Chimichurri Sauce grilled veggies and fried onion strings.
Pulled Pork Nachos corn chips topped with pulled pork, slaw, spicy cheese sauce and pecan garlic BBQ Sauce.
