ABOUT BASIN ARTS:
Basin Arts is a container for creativity; an arts center that supports and implements cross-disciplinary collaboration, allowing Lafayette’s creative class to come together, share, experiment, and focus on process over product. Basin Arts creates opportunities for artistic expression across generations through dance classes, art classes, visual arts residencies, gallery programming and special events; all aimed at enhancing the artistic identity of our community. For more information about Basin Arts visit https://basinartslafayette.com/ or call Joelle Polisky at (615) 516-0358.
ABOUT CREATIVE CONVERSATIONS:
The museum offers free admission every Wednesday night at the museum from 5-8 PM in order to provide increased access to the arts for the people of Acadiana. During the fall and spring semesters, the museum features a weekly program, beginning at 6 PM, which are complimentary to the current season of exhibitions and provide a cross-disciplinary approach to learning. From artist talks to film screenings to concerts and more, you’re guaranteed to find a free program that interests you. The museum wishes for Wednesday nights to be a place where the community can come together and have a space to talk with artists and experts but more importantly to talk with each other.
