Opportunities vary: Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, crisis and discharge plans, Provide Counseling and Psychoeducation, assist with collection of data, screening tools, and monitoring of progress in the Mental Health Program.

Positions available in Lafayette, Lake Charles, and Jennings offices, and position may be hybrid/remote or office based depending on the role. Employee must be licensed in the state of LA.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Licensed or Provisionally licensed in social work, counseling or psychology.
• PLPC, LMSW, CSW, PLMFT or Psychology Intern preferred.
• Only MHPs who are registered as interns with the governing boards of LCSW, LPC, LMFT or American Psychological Association will be allowed to do mental health counseling

Skills:

• English language reading, writing, and speaking skills
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Computer literate
• Knowledge and experience working with general office equipment
• Good organizational and prioritization skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to follow through a given task
• Must maintain appropriate level of professional demeanor
• Must maintain appropriate composure when dealing with sensitive subject matter
• Must recognize, retain and preserve confidential information

Other:

· Pass criminal background check

Full time employees also receive paid holidays and accrue sick leave and vacation provided you work 80 hours per pay period. Pay period is every two weeks. A week for us is from Monday through Sunday. Overtime available at time and a half hourly rate.

Other full-time benefits include eight (8) hours paid CEU, RMS will pay fee to register with the board for license. LPC supervisors on staff for supervision for licensure.
