LAFAYETTE, LA. (KLFY) — After weeks of build-up, KLFY News 10 reporter Zane Houge finally stepped into the squared circle to make his professional wrestling debut as Adam Zane.
Zane’s first test in a wrestling ring came on Saturday at LWA’s Heartland Heat from the Cajundome Convention Center. The co-main event of the night saw Adam Zane take on his bitter rival Masked Grappler III.
The match went haywire when the referee was taken out, and The Grappler got involved taking out his frustrations on Adam Zane. When Adam Zane thought he was outnumbered, an unlikely ally helped him seal his first win on a roll up.
Former Anchor and current KLFY Account Executive Bob Moore helped provide the assist by making the 3-count on Masked Grappler III, giving Adam Zane his first win as a professional wrestler.
After the conclusion of the match, LWA management would schedule a future match. Adam Zane and Bob Moore will take on The Grappler and Masked Grappler III this July at The Pit inside Epic Entertainment.
We will provide more information on July’s LWA card when it comes available.
