Owner of Luna Bar and Grill
337: How many children do you have?
337: How long have you been married?
Evans: 20 years, ain’t life grand!
337: Who would you be if you were a celebrity?
Evans: A cross between Anthony Bourdain and Eddy Vedder
337: What is the last picture you took with your phone?
Evans: My two bulldog puppies
337: Do you dance crazy when no one is looking?
Evans: Certainly, and while they’re looking too!
337: Do you volunteer locally?
Evans: Every year in October we put on Chuck Fest, a free downtown festival based on Lake Charles and Louisiana culture. I want people in Lake Charles believe in themselves and recognize that we have a lot of talented artists, musicians and more here.
337: What got you in the restaurant business?
Evans: My parents opened a restaurant called Dave’s Oyster House when I was 12. I worked in the kitchen at 13 shucking oysters. They’ve always been in the restaurant business and had a bar before that.
337: What is something that you are looking forward to with Luna?
Evans: We are about to expand into the next-door building, increasing seating, and we’re always growing. We bought a food trailer and are expanding to Lafayette to participate in upcoming events and festivals.
